Building a Global Kids Entertainment Biz with Cathy Randazzo

Season #1 Episode #6

In this episode of Business, Arts and All That Jazz, I get to chat with THE kids party queen, Cathy Randazzo. You are in for a treat as her energy is contagious! Cathy has been the CEO of national party company Bop Til You Drop since 2003. Since taking over the business, Cathy has expanded from NSW Australia into other states including QLD, VIC, SA and WA. She also plans to expand into more Australian states as well as take the brand internationally.  Cathy started singing, dancing and acting at the age of 5yrs. When she finished Year 12, she did a Diploma in Performing Arts. Discovering herself as a performer, she worked for various dance companies touring Australia and dipped her toe in TV work, being featured on TV commercials and shows such as Neighbours and Home and Away.  From all the performance gigs she experienced, Cathy realised that she loved performing in children’s shows the most! From there the journey to being Australia’s number 1 kids disco queen began. The wheels kept on turning, as she grew from humble beginnings, to then franchising the business across Australia. With overseas expansion dreams in mind, Cathy is on a mission to bring the party to children across the globe.
